Bent Tree Cougar Alert

There have been 2 cougar sightings in the last week (March 20-26) off Silver Fern Blvd near the long finger pond, between the H3 condominiums. One sighting was an adult with a cub. While there have been no reported attacks, with such a big animal that is a major concern. I called the Florida Wildlife Commission. The Florida Panther/cougar is a protected species that they will not do anything about unless it becomes a threat. Here is a pamphlet for everyone to read. Please watch your children, your animals, and yourselves. 
 
 
LOST PHONE

One of our neighbors has lost her celllphone while out walking. It is pink, in a flowered case.  Lost Friday Feb 27.  If you have found it, please notify her friend Karen at 707-888-2542. Lost somewhere along Hawkshead, Silver Fern, Willow Leaf Way loop.

Vendor Gate Access

After March 5, vendors can gain entry to Bent Tree by purchasing a vendor decal for $125/year.  Otherwise, they must call the homeowner from the phone podium or get a visitor pass from a homeowner on the smartphone app. Contact BT2clickers@gmail.com to purchase an annual decal.
Water Restrictions Mandated

Dues Assessments

The 2026 assessment of $725 was due January 1. We allow a 30-day grace period that will be up this Saturday, January 31. Please make sure you pay your assessment as soon as possible.
 
As it can take several days for our bank to process the payments, we will count any payments that are processed by the close of business on Monday, February 9 as being paid on time. Any payments that are not processed by the close of business on Monday, February 9 will be considered late and a late penalty fee and interest starting as of February 1 will be assessed.

New Location of BT2 Board Meetings

Our May and June Bent Tree 2 Board Meetings will be held at St. John's Methodist Church, 6611 Proctor Rd. The Conference Room is located thru the doors on the west side of the building, nearest Proctor Road.  Leaving BT2 and heading west on Proctor Road, use the church's second driveway. (You can drive all the way around the building if you enter at the first driveway.) Check the calendar for meeting dates and times.
Homeowners can now view HOA billing

Our management firm, Progressive Community Management, recently launched a member portal online for Bent Tree 2 homeowners. It allows you to view paid and pending bills for your dues and special assessments.  It also provides another convenient way to access the HOA guidelines, articles of incorporation, etc. Create a password and access your info HERE.
